Allison Miller Art My subjects are inspired by the wonders of nature, its lines, space, shapes, textures, and patterns.
The titles of my surreal images often involve
a play on words for multiple viewing experiences. The technique I
use is an art form that dates back to the 1500’s
called printmaking. As a 17 year old freshman at college I took a printmaking class and loved it. In fact my professor also inspired me to be a teacher as well.
My love for printmaking is due to the challenge of creating the image in reverse
on and/or in a variety of plate surfaces then printing multiple copies with variations
of different colors and textures of ink and paper.
